How can I build confidence in myself, particularly as I doubt myself a lot?

This is so common – you’d be amazed how many other people deal with issues of self-confidence. You might not notice it because: A) you’re so busy worrying about your own stuff; and B) people often mask insecurity by acting tough and confident – sometimes to the point of arrogance.

Are there any coaching tips that can help with procrastination?

Here’s a great technique for moving forward when you feel stuck by things you “have to” do. I put “have to” in quotation marks because it is, in fact, almost always not true that we have to do anything. Other than breathing, eating, drinking water and sleeping, most of what we do is a matter of choice.  Assuming authority for your circumstances is the first (sometimes very big) step in moving forward.

I’ve been promoted and now manage several teams I don’t feel as in control as I used to

I would say that rather than feeling as though you have to know all the detail of what’s happening in all your teams, you could rely more on your team leaders. It’s fairly common for managers to feel they have to know every little thing that’s happening in their areas, but this can be the start of a terrible slide down the slippery slope of micro-managing – where you can end up feeling overwhelmed by the detail and your team leaders can feel completely disempowered. You’d all be better off if you delegate effectively and trust your people to do their own jobs.
